Life after the flood

Lola jumped on a rock. Tatsuke was getting ready to leap, but CRACK! A shot exhod through the land and grazed Lola's neck. It scared her half to death. Tatsuke said gravely, "This was NOT part of the plan..."

Tally growled.

(Are these hunters?)

Lola fumbled to her feet and flew with Tatsuke right behind her. "Come on!" he whispered.

A bullet went flying towards Yuko. He ducked and it landed at his paws. "NOT TODAY!"He snapped takeing the bullet and dinting it with his powerful fangs. Another one flew towards him and it blasted him in the shoulder. He yelped and fell to the ground. "Dam*."Yuko cussed. He couldnt move that leg,but he ignored the pain and glared at all the bullets flying towards them.

Lola struggled to veer an about-face but managed it at said, "Come on Yuko, I know you can handle this. No offense, but as hard-headed as you are, I know you can be following hot on our heels." She bit him on the scruff to get him moving. "Catch me if you can!" she teased running off. "This better work," she mumbled to herself.

Yuko chased after her,right front leg limping.

Lola yelled, "I found a burrow the other day. I know where it is, come on!"

He ran faster. "STOO-"He was cut off when he soon was in a jail like cage. "help?"All the wolves where too far away.

(Wonder if I can make a topic about Yuko's Nightmare..)

Lola and Tatsuke were completely unaware that Yuko was trapped, each of Lola's strides longer and faster than the last. Her mind was totally blocked of what was going on around her. All she knew was that she was running away from hunters.

Yuko was loaded in the truck.

Lola's front right leg angled and she sommersaulted 3 times before skidding 5 feet on the ground, stopping motionless except for heavy breathing. She was exhausted and could go on no longer. Tatsuke tripped over his sister.

"Yuko?"Tally asked. "YUKO!?"

Tatsuke said, "Lola needs me. Go find Yuko. Mark every once in a while so I can find you. Howl when you find Yuko and bring him back if you can. I know he's large and hard to carry, so howl a second time if you need help getting him back." But Tatsuke did not know that Yuko was being driven away.

"I'll stay,YOU go find him!"

"But you would know where he is. He's you're brother, isn't he? And I know my sister's needs when she gives signs. You know that it's a brother-sister thing. Only I can help and understand Lola, and you the same with Yuko. Go, and follow your instict to where you think he is, now!"

"HE COULD BE ANYWHERE!

"Follow your instinct! If you do that I KNOW you'll find him! Go! Now!"

She ran off. Tally howled. "THE PAWPRINTS LEAD TO A CAGE PRINT!"

"That's bad, very bad..." He told Lola what happened to Yuko. She immediatly sprang up, with Tatsuke following close behind. This time, both of their strides were longer and faster than the last, never slackening, never fumbling. Tatsuke pulled up right next to Lola, and their legs rose and descended in unison. They were running together, running as one.

Tally couldnt move,she was too frightend.

They slowed down, stopped, and said, "Come on!" still in unison.

'What?"

"Yuko's been captured," Lola said panicky. "Yeah, and they've carried him off with a cage," Tatsuke said breathing heavily.

"Oh no.."

Lola and Tatsuke only had to look in each other's eyes to have an entire conversation. Tatsuke focused on the flattened grass when the metal monster had traveled, and Lola followed watching out for danger.
